Griferías Galindo is a family business that was founded in 1929 by Sir. Jesús Galindo Abad. The company started out in business during the heyday of metallurgical activity in El Baix Llobregat, province of Barcelona. Its corporate purpose has always been the manufacture and sale of sanitary fittings, bathroom taps, kitchen taps, etc. Over the years, it has set itself the goal of excellence in its products, both in technical aspects and at the level of emotions, always seeking a distinctive aspect that will afford its taps their own personality.

In the 1970s, it created a two-handle waterfall mixer model, a concept far ahead of its time. Griferías Galindo then embarked on a new road incorporating colour into its taps. With this innovative concept, end users could decide on the colour composition, with up to 27 different finishes.

In 1995, manufacture was transferred to the "El Plà" industrial estate in Molins de Rei in order to centralise activity and optimise all processes with a view to seeking maximum efficiency in every area. During this decade, its products were given a new design orientation with a special focus on the consumer's sensibility towards decoration in general, particularly due to the relevance afforded to kitchens and bathrooms.

At the same time, Griferías Galindo developed its first "green" tap, the "Modelo Millennium", fitted with a system for saving both water flow and boiler consumption. These two concepts, design and sustainability, still form part of the company's current strategy today.

Fast-forward to 2011 and Galindo is a dynamic company with a select range of exquisitely designed quality fittings, some of which have received "Good Design" awards. The company's products and good management are also backed by its ISO certification for 9001 - 2000 and AENOR.
