• Automatic sorting lines are used by waste processing plants. Compared with manual sorting, the automatic sorting line allows you to increase the percentage of selected fractions, as well as increase the speed of waste sorting. Depending on the composition of the equipment and the morphology of the waste, the automatic sorting complex allows processing up to 55% of the waste.
• In the technological process of automatic waste sorting lines (MSW), the quality of the selected secondary raw materials is always monitored. This quality control of materials is carried out by sorting operators. There are two basic technological schemes that are used in automatic sorting complexes:
1. negative selection of useful fractions;
2. positive selection.
• Negative selection refers to the selection of fractions unsuitable for further use by sorting operators from the conveyor. With negative selection, the number of separators and the cost of the entire complex are more expensive due to the large number of automatic sorters. With positive selection, sorters select raw materials suitable for further use from raw materials already sorted automatically. At present, in Russia, due to various reasons, such as high requirements for the quality of secondary raw materials, the difference in the morphological composition of MSW, and others, the most common and popular is positive selection.
