The dome splice enclosure is meant for housing and protecting the splices of fiber optic cables. It normally comes with 68 rating thus suitable for outdoor or harsh environment application. Dome splice enclosure adopts a fully-mechanical sealing structure thus it does not need the use of any other sealing materials except the silicone rubber sealing gasket provided to ensure the good sealing performance for fiber cable with diameter 13mm or less. The dome splice enclosure comes with different cable entrances sizes, the big cable entry is used for the sealing of uncut direct transmission fiber cable, while the small cable entry is used for soft cables or general branching cables.
